  Xbox Page Heap
Posted by: theDomo - 09-09-2019, 09:37 AM - Forum: Xbox 360 - No Replies

What is it?
Page heap is special DBG-only heap implementation that is specifically designed to detect heap corruption issues.

How does it work?
xPageHeap works by leveraging extra virtual address space. Every heap allocation corresponds to its own unique page(s) of virtual memory, marked PAGE_READWRITE, with corresponding physical pages committed to back the virtual allocation. The heap allocation is aligned such that it abuts the end-of-page boundary for the last page required. Immediately following the heap allocation page is another virtual page marked PAGE_NOACCESS (with no physical memory committed). Any reads or writes to this unmapped memory result in STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION exceptions. Immediately preceding the heap allocation is a landfill pattern that enables integrity-checks of stray underrun writes, but is still marked PAGE_READWRITE. Since so much virtual address space is leveraged heap allocations which would typically exhibit locality in a retail heap are now far apart, often with unmapped virtual address separating them.

  X360 XEX Decompiling With Ghidra

a new tool made by a friend and me for loaded xex's in Ghidra
with this tool you can get more in-depth information out of your executable such as dumping pseudocode
and also you don't have to mess with ida which is a tool that you usually have to obtain through pirate sites.

  BFH website
Posted by: TheLittlePeach - 09-02-2019, 10:08 PM - Forum: Tutorial - No Replies

to use this you must have configured the backend

here http://evilsource.net/Thread-BFH-Backend-Setup

here we will have the website set up and ready to use

and the uniserver (program similar to xampp)

but it's portable and works better

after download files you open uniserver and start apache and xampp

(uniserver are using root username and 1234 for pw (of databae) so you need to put this in env files of you backend)

open uniserver

go to "view www" to see the website and "phpMyadmin" to see the database

( I no need to learn how to create one account in the website.....)

after creating the website account

you need to get sessioniD to join the game

you find this in DB

"game_heroes" and seach for you game name

and copy the session id

And put in you .bat to start the game

his is one tutorial to setup backend of BFH with server and client

open xampp and start apache and mysql
after put this link in you browser "http://localhost/phpmyadmin"

after create one DB and import the BFH sql

now you SQL is ready

unzip backend files in you documents folder

go to \battlefieldHeroesBackend folder
and now edit .env file with notepad ++ or any text editor

if you want to test in you PC put IP and you database name and username

(in VPS you need to put you ipv4 IP)

after save the file and run Fesl.exe and magma.exe

now you have you backend running ^^

3-client and server

unzip you client and server folder

in client you will need to create one .bat folder to start the game

use this "bfheroes +sessionId 123 +magma 0 +punkbuster 0 +developer 1"

sessionId is you "account" you can get more ID in the website

after just start the .bat that you created

Now the Server

In server folder you have the RUN.bat

just start this and wait for server

Now you have the client and server running

Hello, a game developer I've followed for a long time has published files. I think some members can develop the game Smile

Info + Studio test

Release info:

I long ago gave up on this project, the same as heatshack. Here's the source for people who are actually still interested.

You won't be able to use anything past unity 2018.1 as they deprecated the networking in 2018.2. This project was last opened with Unity 2018.1.9f2 and I'd recommend you use that revision as well.

I didn't commentate because there just isn't really much more to say. This will be my final contribution to the AC community that remains.

You'll need to create your own App ID in photon for online capabilities.

You'll also need to do the database yourself as well. I've scrubbed whatever info was in here previously. You can disable "thelogin" on the scene Silo1 to just get to the game. You can't register or login as it is due to the lack of a database. To figure out the current database, you'll need to go to the Levi Moore folder and view his help files.

You can create a new database system if you want to. I don't think the one that is currently in the game is any good.

When you first start the scene on Silo1, it may take a little while for everything to load, but after that it'll be smooth sailing. You can use this for learning purposes, or try to continue the legacy.
